Spicer Strayhorn

A native Texas, born and raised in Childress, J. Ward Boyce began his acting career at the age of 10 in the title role of "Tom Sawyer", a local Little Theater production.  High school plays were followed by work with the "Aggie Players" at Texas A&M.  A long hiatus ensued while he spent a 28-year career with the U.S. Air Force.  Retiring in Austin, he renewed his love for acting with several film acting courses and during the past five years has appeared in several independent films in Austin, as well as commercials, voice-overs, and as several studio films produced in and around Austin.
